DAY 01

Arusha → Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, your safari officially begins as you drive southwest toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems and home to the country’s largest elephant population. As you enter the park, ancient baobab trees tower above the landscape while seasonal rivers attract an incredible diversity of wildlife.

Spend the day enjoying an exciting game drive through open savannahs, river valleys, and acacia woodlands. Tarangire offers outstanding opportunities to observe elephant families at close range, often gathering in herds of over one hundred individuals. Lions can frequently be seen resting beneath the shade of acacia trees, while giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, and warthogs roam freely across the plains.

Bird enthusiasts will also appreciate the park’s incredible variety of more than 500 recorded bird species, making Tarangire one of East Africa’s finest birdwatching destinations.

As the afternoon sun begins to set, continue to your beautiful lodge overlooking the Rift Valley where you can relax while enjoying spectacular African sunsets.

DAY 00

Your unforgettable Great Migration adventure begins the moment you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where your professional safari guide will warmly welcome you with a traditional Tanzanian smile. After a short briefing, enjoy a comfortable private transfer through the scenic countryside to Arusha, Tanzania’s safari capital, nestled beneath the majestic Mount Meru.

Tonight is all about relaxation, recovering from your journey, and preparing for one of Africa’s greatest wildlife adventures.

DAY 03

Central Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the magnificent Serengeti in search of the Great Migration. With your experienced guide tracking wildlife movements, you’ll venture into different regions depending on the season and recent migration patterns.

Witness thousands upon thousands of wildebeest stretching across the plains while zebras, gazelles, and antelopes graze alongside them. The migration attracts an abundance of predators, offering exceptional opportunities to witness lions stalking prey, cheetahs sprinting across the savannah, or leopards resting high in sausage trees.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari. Every game drive is different, making each hour an exciting opportunity to experience nature’s greatest wildlife spectacle.

DAY 02

Tarangire → Central Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park via the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of volcanic highlands, Maasai villages, and endless rolling landscapes before descending into the vast Serengeti ecosystem.

As you enter the Serengeti, the scenery transforms into endless golden plains stretching toward the horizon. This extraordinary ecosystem supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on Earth and forms the stage for the annual Great Migration.

Your afternoon game drive begins immediately upon entering the park. Depending on the season, you may encounter enormous herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains while predators patiently follow nearby. Lions resting beneath acacia trees, cheetahs scanning for prey, and elephants crossing the open grasslands all contribute to an unforgettable first day in the Serengeti.

As the African sun sets, arrive at your luxury tented camp where the sounds of nature surround you throughout the evening

DAY 04

Central Serengeti → Northern Serengeti

Journey to the Mara River

Rise early for breakfast before continuing your adventure toward the legendary Northern Serengeti, a remote and wildlife-rich region renowned for hosting one of nature’s greatest spectacles—the Great Migration river crossings. The journey itself is an exciting game drive as you travel through changing landscapes, from endless open plains to rolling hills, rocky kopjes, and lush riverine forests.

As you approach the Mara River ecosystem, the density of wildlife increases dramatically. Massive herds of wildebeest and zebras gather along the riverbanks, often waiting for hours—or even days—for the perfect moment to cross. The anticipation is incredible as crocodiles lie motionless beneath the water while predators patrol nearby, creating one of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife scenes.

Your experienced guide will position the vehicle at strategic viewpoints, maximizing your chances of witnessing the migration in action while respecting wildlife and park regulations. Even if a crossing does not occur immediately, the surrounding wildlife activity provides exceptional game-viewing opportunities.

As the sun begins to set, arrive at your luxury migration camp perfectly located near the migration route. Enjoy dinner beneath the stars while listening to the distant calls of wildlife echoing across the Serengeti.

DAY 05

Full Day – Northern Serengeti (Great Migration Experience)

Witness the Great Migration River Crossing

Today is dedicated entirely to tracking one of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife events—the Great Migration. Your guide will depart early, using the latest wildlife movements and local knowledge to position you where the migration is most active.

Thousands of wildebeest gather nervously along the Mara River before suddenly surging into the water in a breathtaking display of instinct and survival. The crossing is unpredictable, making every moment exciting. Powerful river currents, enormous Nile crocodiles, and steep riverbanks transform each crossing into an unforgettable drama where only the strongest survive.

Away from the river, Northern Serengeti offers exceptional predator sightings. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and jackals closely follow the migrating herds, creating endless opportunities for remarkable wildlife encounters and spectacular photography.

Enjoy a bush picnic surrounded by Africa’s untouched wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari in search of even more migration activity.

DAY 06

Northern Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Farewell to the Serengeti

After breakfast, enjoy one final morning game drive through the Serengeti as you begin your journey toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Although the migration remains behind, wildlife encounters continue throughout the drive, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and large herds grazing across the plains.

The route gradually climbs into the cool highlands of Ngorongoro, where dramatic scenery replaces the open savannah. Along the way, you’ll pass Maasai villages, volcanic landscapes, and breathtaking viewpoints overlooking one of Africa’s most remarkable conservation areas.

Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, where you can relax with panoramic views of the crater highlands while preparing for tomorrow’s unforgettable crater safari.

DAY 07

Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha

Into Africa's Garden of Eden

Wake before sunrise and descend over 600 metres into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often described as Africa’s Garden of Eden. The crater floor supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife anywhere on the continent, making it one of Tanzania’s finest safari destinations.

Spend the morning exploring diverse habitats including open grasslands, acacia forests, freshwater lakes, and swamps. Keep your camera ready as you search for the endangered black rhinoceros, powerful lion prides, massive bull elephants, buffaloes, hippos, spotted hyenas, and large flocks of flamingos around Lake Magadi.

After enjoying a picnic lunch beside the famous hippo pool, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha. As your unforgettable Great Migration Safari comes to an end, you’ll leave with incredible memories, breathtaking photographs, and stories that will last a lifetime.
